Number Row

Under Consideration

One of the things I have enjoyed most with my Galaxy Note phones is the additional rrow of numbers. Much easier and overall leaa conplex to use in my opinion. Also, predictive text would be helpful.

Overall I enjoy the layout so far. But having used swype for the past few years, and using a dvorak keyboard makes this an interesting learning curve.

I love both the number idea AND the predictive text.

Hi Ryan

A lot of users want a space button as swiping is often bit slower. But there's already a topic with a lot of votes about reorganizing the letters: http://community.wrio-keyboard.com/topic/reorganize-the-keyboard

Might be a good solution for you because every user has different needs.

Thanks for your feedback and have a nice weekend! :)

Many keyboard apps have the dedicated number row.

Personally I love the space button. I do not like to swipe to space as I often press a key instead. Wrio makes caplock easy by simply swiping up on the letter.

The solution to that might not be to add a dedicated number line, but to add more sliding features to individual buttons on the main screen. For instance, right swipe on the top row (or adopting the secondary design and apply it to the primry screen for numbers) and restrict the space to the two buttons, which should be completely enough. I stopped using the keyboard (for the time being), because I write a lot of numbers and also need to switch back and forth between latin letters and chinese characters a lot.

Yep, if I could vote this idea down, I would. :D I agree with Kimberly (and gave her a heart because of that, which is the correct way to do it and I don't even know why I'm writing all this)

Hi guys - I agree that a quick access to numbers would be great. I personally also feel sometimes the need :) I'll leave it open here and gather ideas, after the more urgent things this is something to take action on. Cheers, David

PS: Sorry for the merge mistake of the space buttons. This is something that is discussed in the Reorganize keyboard idea.
