Hi Martin - also good point. We'll let you know once we get it on the list. What are your most used shortcuts? Best, David

In other words, allow access to the iOS system so that WRIO can access iOS keyboard shortcuts.

Hi Michael - I think that's up to Apple to give us access to the settings, which is somewhat unlikely. But WRIO could have its own shortcuts?

SwiftKey and Nintype have access to iOS, so as a developer you shouldn't have a problem. There are a slew of other keyboards for iOS that have access. Apple allowed it around a couple years back, that's why there are so many keyboard apps.

Hi Michael - great, we'll check it out and get back to you soon. First we'll have some bug fixing to do though :) Cheers, David

Hey Michael.

I had the system-shortcuts of iOS in mind. But maybee Apple won't allow you to use them. But WPIO could have an own list in their settings. I think those should not be fix shortcuts but a list where everyone can make their own stuff. (Mails etc.)

I second that request for Shortcuts, saves us time typing in common things such as email addresses for username logins, for example.

Same on android with custom dictionairies, no need to reinvent the wheel. At least read from it if it doesn't support your needs.

This idea came also up in the ifun.de discussion (http://www.iphone-ticker.de/schweizer-wrio-tastatur-70-hoehere-tippgeschwindigkeit-97117/) . Original post there:

Fleksy keyboard enables shortcuts as extension on Android. That's such an useful and an amazing feature. I'd really like to see this feature added.

It would be better if WRIO used the ios shortcuts instead of its own. That way I have to define the shortcuts twice.

    Hey Mario

Thanks a lot for your input. We think that it's easier for the users to have all settings for WRIO Keyboard at the same place. And unfortunately we can't add additional features to the settings from the default app.

But maybe it's possible to add a feature to import existing shortcuts. We have to investigate though.

It's already there. Just make sure you have the newest version installed, then you find it in the WRIO settings.
